Randomness.

I'm currently at war with my allergies.
So my brain is a bit foggy.
This post is going to be
the most random thing ever.
fact.

I've been on a quest to be healthier as of late.
Trying to buy less factory foods,
eat more fresh veggies,
and stay clear of high fructose corn syrup.
I talk to friends about this often,
and the other day my friend Christina
suggested that i youtube Michael Pollan.
I did, and found out that he is the author of
the "Omnivore's Dilemma" and "In Defense of Food".
This video is from a google talk he did,
and it is really interesting.
It's kind of long but if you
don't have time to watch the whole thing,
at least skip around!

New Kids on the Block decided to make their comeback today.
If you were like me, then you had NKOTB everything.
I had the bedsheets, sleeping bag, pajamas, Joe doll
(I really wanted to be Mrs. Joey McIntyre.)

I don't really know how I feel about this comeback.
On the today website it said that the guys are all pushing 40.
I'm going to be honest.
I don't know if they can pull off the same kind of choreography anymore.
And without that (and that sweet 80's wardrobe)

I don't know that I'm sold.
NKOTB in suits? don't think so.

My friend and I will be there on the 16th of May
for their first live performance since 1994.
Mainly because we had spent hours laughing
at their concert videos in our younger years.
There are too many NKOTB inside jokes.
We need to be there to have more laughs.

Last but not least
I just want to say that I miss my dog.
(She lives in New Jersey)
This is Mees snuggling in a laundry basket.
I love her.

I still have the bedsheets. I'm so jealous that you get to go see them. I saw Jordan Knight when I was in the 8th grade I think, when he was doing his solo thing. I hope you post a billion and a half pictures.

xx Tia

When they tour, I hope they play a lot of their classics because I loved NKOTB while I was growing up.
New Kids On The Block was a big influence on me when I was younger and seeing them in a reunion tour or concert now would be fun. I wonder what they sound like now? I heard one of their new songs over at www.NKOTBReunion.com
Hope you like it too!
